FAQs:

What can I get pierced with?

We offer a wide selection of solid gold jewelry. While threaded studs (flat back) are preferred for the healing process, butterfly backings and hoops can be accommodated. Piercing jewelry must be 14k gold or higher. Please note some piercing placement restricts what jewelry we can use, but our piercer will help you make an educated choice.

Who can get pierced?

Almost anyone! Proof of identification must be provided at your appointment in order to complete your waiver. Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. It’s best to wait until after pregnancy and breastfeeding to get pierced for the safety of you and your baby!

Where can I get pierced?

As of now our main focus is ears, based on the jewelry selection we have in the store. Any ear piercing can be done, and different pain levels and healing times can be discussed in your appointment. Nostril and septum piercings may also be accommodated, depending on the jewelry available. If you’re undecided on the placement of your piercing, our piercer will work with you and your anatomy to determine the best spot to show off your new jewelry.

What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

Make sure to have a snack and be fully hydrated! Bring your ID and any reference photos you’d like to show to your piercer. Please stay home if you’re sick! Not only do we want to protect our staff, but a new piercing never heals well when you’re already fighting something off.

How do I care for my piercing?

Your piercer will give you an aftercare sheet but your main priority is to keep it clean. We recommend using saline to keep your piercing clean and avoid touching it as much as possible. If you do feel the need to touch your piercing, wash your hands thoroughly and use a sterile q-tip.
